Steve Hubbard

Steve has more than 35 years of executive management experience dealing with operations, product and process engineering, and the legal and financial aspects of public and private entities engaged in domestic and international business. He has served in CEO, VP R&D, and CFO positions in the semiconductor and electronics sector. In those roles, he managed large teams of engineers and analysts engaged in product development, process improvement, and cost reduction projects focused on generating a competitive advantage.

He has successfully planned and implemented a turnaround strategy for a semiconductor design and manufacturing company, which was sold to PMC-Sierra for stock worth more than $1 billion. As CFO, he raised a round of venture capital financing and restructured the equity of the company. As CEO, he introduced new products and processes, and negotiated technology licenses to expand working capital. He arranged the sale and relocation of a semiconductor fabrication facility (to a company in Beijing) and its lucrative acquisition by PMC-Sierra.

As president/CEO, Steve restructured and sold Intelledex Incorporated, a high-tech robotics and computer-vision design and manufacturing company, which was sold to ESI Inc. At Advanced Micro Devices (a leading semiconductor manufacturer), Steve served in progressively responsible positions. He was the principal business advisor to the senior VP of operations, accountable for eight divisions and two remote plants generating $750 Million in annual sales.

After serving in the United States Air Force, he graduated cum laude from business school at San Jose State University’s Business School and started his career as an auditor in public accounting at Arthur Andersen & Co.
